Math (composition) notebooks have been highly encouraged by state curriculum developers and this activity may be used as an artifact inserted into students' notebooks. They can be glued into the notebooks with completion date to assess growth over time.
The single sheet contains one assessment with two parts, so they may be cut in half and glued side-by-side on two consecutive notebook pages.
The activities are aligned with the objectives of each performance task as well as the focus and closing questions listed for each.
A simple way for teachers to assess students' understanding of each task; this activity does not feel like a typical worksheet to the students.
