This activity was designed to practice order of operations with my Pre-Algebra students. Both positive and negative integer operations are used.
There are 18 pinwheels. In the center of each pinwheel is an integer. Around the outside of the pinwheel are 6 different problems. Students must solve each problem and determine which of the 6 are equal to the number in the center. (There may be anywhere from 1 to 6 correct answers for any given number.) Students should circle the letter of each correct answer on their answer sheet. 18 x 6 = 108 order of operations problems!! Great for review day!
I created two different types of answer sheets. Each print two to a page. The first one does not require students to show their answers to each problem (pg 2 in the PDF). The second one is front and back (pg 3 and 4 of the PDF) and requires students to show the answer for each problem.
The answer key is provided!
