### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Error analysis is a powerful way to engage students in deep thinking about math content. This goes beyond just being able to solve a problem - students need to evaluate, critique, and correct others' work. Error analysis is a great task to use with students who have mastered the skill, but still need reinforcement. In addition, these tasks are in convenient and fun task-card format. I use actual student misconceptions in my math class to design these tasks authentically. In my classroom, I use error analysis for EVERY skill before students can move on!

Ideas for implementation:
-math centers
-bell-ringer
-quick assessment/exit ticket
-math journals
-early finishers
-GATE students
-teacher-led small group
-intervention
-stations

-whole-class discussion
-gallery walk activities

The possibilities are endless! Students LOVE correcting others' work - it puts them in the driver's seat of their learning.

Math skills included: evaluating expressions with braces, brackets, parentheses, and all operations; order of operations vocabulary; exponents
