Order of Operations: Exponents, Roots, Absolute Value

Do you want your students to be able to simplify expressions with exponents, roots, and absolute value using the order of operations? Do your students have difficulty solving equations? Students that have difficulty solving equations often do not apply order of operations correctly.
After many years of searching for order of operations problems that meet the needs of my students, I created my own and they have worked well with my students!

Do you have difficulty finding practice pages that challenge your students with order of operations? My order of operations practice includes expressions with operations involving positive and negative integers, parenthesis, exponents, roots, and absolute value. I used scaffolding in my practice pages so you can help your students identify gaps and misunderstandings in their learning. I also included challenging problems for your students that need an extra challenge with simplifying expressions using order of operations.
