This is a game that gets the whole class up and moving. If you are not familiar with Footloose, the idea is that students travel around the classroom to solve problems on different cards. They record their answers along the way. This game can be played with each student on their own or they can work in pairs or small teams. It could even be used as an assessment! This is designed for basic order of operations concepts. The problems do not include exponents, and they only have a single set of parenthesis (no brackets). The students are highly engaged in this game, and it keeps them learning!
