This guided lesson breaks down the steps of the Order of Operations. Procedural fluency is emphasized during this lesson. Students learn the correct order of the acronym PEMDAS by learning the corresponding word for each letter, the symbols used to identify that function, what the function looks like in an equation, and then an example that follows along. Students will then use a pennant (triangle) to go about the steps of PEMDAS to solve various equations.
These guided notes are great for students that need visuals, simplicity, broken down modifications & accommodations. These notes are the perfect size to be placed/glued into interactive note books or math journals!
An answer key is included!!
