These maze activities provide a fun and engaging way for students to practice applying the rules of Order of Operations in simplifying numerical expressions. You may use these activities for whole class discussion, small groups, pair activities, individual practice, homework assignment, quick assessment, and more!

Maze 1 - Apply the rules of Order of Operations to simplify numerical expressions without exponents and parentheses
Maze 2 - Apply the rules of Order of Operations to simplify numerical expressions with exponents but without parentheses
Maze 3 - Apply the rules of Order of Operations to simplify numerical expressions with parentheses but without exponents
Maze 4 - Apply the rules of Order of Operations to simplify numerical expressions with both exponents and parentheses

How to Play?
Students will begin by answering the problem inside the START box. They will follow the path with the correct answer to get to the next problem. They will keep going through the maze until they reach the "END" box.

► You may require students to show their work on separate sheets of paper.
