-Evaluate numerical expressions (including integer exponents and grouping symbols) using the order of operations
I use this as review for my high school algebra 1 students. If you print the 2 pages back-to-back and cut down the middle, there will be 8 problems for Partner A and 8 problems for Partner B. They must solve their own problem and compare their solution with their partner. If the solutions match, they move on to the next problem. If they don’t match, they must have a conversation to determine the correct solution. These activities always lead to rich conversations for students at every level!
This product will eventually be bundled with my Algebra 1 Unit 1: Expressions, Equations, and Inequalities. Stay tuned!
