Order of operations are a group of rules that tell what actions to perform in sequence to calculate a given mathematical expression. In this printable, there are posters to explain the order of operations and what PEMDAS means and how to solve, a student book, a reference card, task cards, recording sheets (solving and not solving), and puzzles. Each task card is numbered. You determine how many cards each student will do. If you want them to solve, they can do that as well and record that on the sheets. Please notice that some cards ask what operation is FIRST and some ask what operation happens SECOND. Just be sure to point that out to students.

Suggestions, tips, and differentiation:
* Pages are not numbered so teachers can pick and choose which task cards they would like to do depending on the level of the students and whether to solve or not.
* There are 5 different recording sheets to chose from. Most are half sheets but there is one full sheet to record the answer to the multiple choice question and to put the answer to the equation. Option is given to choose just the multiple choice or have the student do both. Two sheets give you the option of having the student choose 12 cards and putting down the answer. The others have the number of the task card already on the sheet.
