What educators are saying

I teach multiple grade levels and I wanted to check my newest students' learning on order of operations. This was great as a formative assessment. Thank you!
Having three versions was fantastic. The differentiation was wonderful because I did not have to do it myself!

Do you need a quiz for Order of Operations in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade?

Don't use up your valuable time creating your own test...we did the work for you!

This resource comes with THREE versions of the assessment! Three quizzes for the price of one!

Order of Operations Quiz (3 Versions)

  • 30 order of operations questions
  • 3 versions (versions A, B, and C)
  • Order of operations rule poster options

Each Version Includes...

  • 10 order of operations questions
  • 1 page - single sided
  • Room for students to show work
  • Answer column for easy grading
  • Answer key included

  • 4 problems - Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
  • 2 problems - Parentheses, +, -, x, /
  • 2 problems - Parentheses, Exponents, +, -, x, /

There are exactly 10 questions (per quiz), so grading is easy!

Grading Considerations:

Make each question worth 1 point. When the quiz is out of 10 points, it is easy to convert scores to percentages!

Make each question worth 2 points. This way, 1 point is for the work and the other is for the correct answer. 20 points can still be converted to percentages easily.

What makes this quiz EASY TO GRADE?

  • There are boxes for the students to do their work and lines on the right hand side of the paper for the students to put their final answers.
  • The boxes on the right hand side make it possible to grade multiple quizzes at once.
