The product, Order of Operations Riddle-Me Activity , is a self-checking hand-out where students get practice with Order of Operations. On the first side, students are asked to solve 14 Order of Operation problems. Once a problem is solved, students look for the answer in the answer bank on the second page. The answers correspond to letters which are used to solve a riddle. Also included is an enrichment activity that asks students to create Order of Operation problems to represent values of certain letters.

This activity could be used as independent practice after instruction, during center time, or as a homework assignment. The self-checking aspect of the product makes it very user friendly.
