This bundle includes my 2 sets of Order of Operation Task Cards, buying the bundle saves you 20% off the separate costs.
Learning the order in which to solve equations can be tricky for some students, they need a lot of practice with constant reminding about "Parenthesis First". My students are no different, so we review constantly.
Order of Operation Task Cards - Add, Subtract, and Parenthesis
These 32 task cards include only equations that have addition, subtraction, and parenthesis skills. Near the beginning of the year, before my students really begin working with multiplication, we only practice with addition and subtraction, solving problems that include parenthesis.
Order of Operations Task Cards (same ant/picnic design)
This set incorporates multiplication, addition, subtraction, and parenthesis into the task cards. I use that set later on in the year in my classroom.
64 task cards (32 in each set)
Answer Keys for both sets
Student Answer Documents - also found in my store
How do I use task cards in my classroom?
*We play Scoot! Scoot is a game in which each student has a card on his/her desk. Students "scoot" around to the different desks, solving problems as they go.
*I put them into the math center rotation for our Hands On station.
*I use them for intervention with parent helpers and in my small groups.
I hope this helps you in your classroom. Look at my blog to see how I use task cards in my own classroom.
