My students go c-r-a-z-y to play this game!!! This is a great review or test prep activity. Students have a chance to get out of their seat and move around. The game includes teacher directions, game rules, 8 slides of 4 problems (32 total problems) and an answer key. This was more than enough to fill up my 50 minute class.
The problems consist of only positive numbers, parentheses, exponents, and a few brackets. Problems contain an average of 3-4 operations each. There is no mention of PEMDAS, GEMDAS, or any other acronym so you can easily adapt it for your classroom.
I use PowerPoint to project this game through my document camera, but if you don't have a projector or camera, you could easily print the slides and give to each group at the beginning of each round.
I would love to hear what your students thought of this activity. Don't forget to leave feedback so you can earn TPT credits!
