This Order of Operations Triangle Matching Activity includes 8 order of operations questions for your students to either complete in a center rotation or as a small group.
What makes this matching activity different? Well, while students are solving order of operation questions, they will also be reviewing right triangles, combining figures, and subdividing figures. The students have to match-up the two right triangles that go together. Once the triangles match up, a rectangle is formed!
This activity doubles as geometry practice and order of operations practice. My fifth grade students really enjoyed matching the triangles to create rectangles!
Please Note: These order of operation questions DO NOT include exponents.
