I created this resource as a way to review order of operations with integers with my students before going into our expressions and equations unit. Understanding how to solve these problems is a necessary skill for students before they begin using substitution to evaluate algebraic expressions.
•Simply provide the link to your students! That’s it! There is also a QR Code students may scan if this is easier.
•Students must get every question correct to proceed to the next question. This forces students to check their work, fix mistakes, and ask for help if they need it in order to progress. Students get a red box on their screen if they answer incorrectly. This will not count against them. This is visual feedback for them and for the teacher that they need to check their work and/or need help. This red box is very easy to see and is a great way to let the teacher know what students need help just by looking at the screens around the room.
•This can be used as review or as a graded assignment. If students are able to submit the form, this means they were able to answer every question correctly! This means they made a 100! Ask students to let you know when they finish so you can record this.
