This is an open-ended flexible crayon themed resource for sequencing 3 digit numbers (101-999) in a variety of ways. Use it to provide individualized practice or review for your second and third-grade math students. It can be used for ordering sets of consecutive or non-consecutive numbers and for counting by 5’s, 10’s, 100’s or any multiple. The color or black/ white crayons can be used to create math stations. This set does not include every number from 101-999. It includes each number 651-850, 100-900 by hundreds, 4 sets of 5 numbers counting by hundreds (246, 346, etc.), numbers 350-550 by 5’s (& 10’s), and 6 sets of 5 numbers counting by 10’s off the decade. Sets of number crayons can be simply placed in order or placed on the color or black/ white crayon mats (for sets of 5 or fewer only). The black/ white crayons are also suitable for a color, cut, and glue activity. I have added a second set of ready to use, easy prep black/ white crayons with a variety of sequences, mixed-up within each set of five numbers (consecutive numbers within a hundred, nonconsecutive numbers within a hundred, consecutive numbers across a hundred, nonconsecutive numbers 101-999, count by 10’s, by 100’s, and by 5’s). Crayons with writing lines to fill in numbers are also included. There are optional recording sheets for writing sequences of 5 numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least. I have been added a page of number lines 0-1000 by 10’s, grouped by hundreds, with a color or black/ white border, to provide support, as needed. You choose the numbers and the skills which best meet your students’ instructional needs.
