CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.4.1d Order adjectives within sentences according to conventional patterns (e.g., a small red bag rather than a red small bag).

Students begin by determining the classification of 42 adjectives, recording each adjective on the appropriate panel. They also independently list 20 adjectives (2 for each section), and write 10 sentences. The final page of the foldable contains 6 fill-in-the-blank sentences.

Once students have completed the sorting and writing, they follow the student-friendly directions to create an accordion-style foldable book that can be used for future reference.

********This resource is available in TWO FORMATS:

1. TRADITIONAL PRINTABLES- Print the PDF and distribute paper copies to your students to complete.

2. GOOGLE SLIDES ACTIVITY- You will find the link on page 13 of the PDF.

Please note! There are two suggested orders that exist. One suggested order places "age" earlier than the other. For these resources, I decided to use the order that is listed in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and the Cambridge Dictionary.

I created this as a follow-up activity to my Ordering Adjectives POWERPOINT. Feel free to check it out!
