These 32 task cards are aligned to the following 4th grade common standards: L.4.1d (Order adjectives within sentences according to conventional patterns (e.g., a small red bag rather than a red small bag). The task cards require students to order 2-3 adjectives depending on the sentence. These task cards would also work well for enriching the content for your third grade students or as an intervention for 5th graders.
These task cards are great to use for a game of Scoot!, homework, centers, warm-ups, enrichment, examples in language journals/notes, or just for a fun learning activity! Copy your cards, laminate them, cut them out, and keep them for years to come! Then, just print a copy of the student-recording sheet for each child in your class and your students are all set for some language fun!
I have also included 4 blank cards with a picture, so you can challenge your students to think of their own ordering adjectives sentences. The answer key is included for your convenience. :) If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
