Ordering Numbers 1-20
Puzzles Around the Room Ocean Theme
These puzzles are a bit different than other puzzles.
We decided to use a variety of ways to have them identify and put their numbers 1-20 in order .
Our kids love these puzzles. They are very excited to find them and put them together. Sometimes we hide them really well or take a puzzle piece out on purpose to see if they can figure out what piece is missing. Our students never know what we are going to do to try and trick them! It keeps them on their toes!
Print on Card stock, cut and tape around the room.
Voila, Ready to go Center.
We usually have them work in pairs. Give them one puzzle piece. Tell them that they have to find the numbers either 1 -10 or the numbers 11-20 that are a matching set (numbers, ten frames, tally marks, dice, scrabble pieces, or popsicle sticks) as their puzzle piece. They find them and bring them to their seat to put the puzzle together. This is just a twist to liven our
center up a little and gives them a bit more of a challenge.
Print on Card Stock, cut, place in a baggie and ready to go Math table Center.
As always we love to get our students up and moving around!
