This is a fun and interactive way for children to learn how to order numbers 1-10. I used this for a math lesson while doing a "People Who Help Us" Theme. During this interactive lesson. Students play a game where they pretend to be police officers. You explain to them that thieves have stolen all the numbers and they have become all mixed up. They then must order the numbers from 1-10 to make sure everything is back where it belongs. We came up with a few different story lines so you can certainly get creative with it! The second job the children must do as police officers is save 10 cats from a tree and place them in order from 1-10. My students had a great time being police officers and we played this game many times.
