Product Description

Looking for an engaging way to teach ordering numbers from least to greatest? Use these time-saving printables to have your students arrange 2 and 3 digit numbers in order while making an animal picture.

This download includes picture puzzles that will help your students get plenty of practice ordering numbers from least to greatest.

The file contains 10 different real-life animal photo 2-digit number puzzles that are large, and 10 of the same puzzles that are small, if you want to save ink. It also has 10 3-digit number puzzles that are large with the same small puzzle ink-saving option.

These make great hands-on practice for whole group activities or math centers to help students’ with number sense, number order, and to compare numbers.

I suggest laminating the pages, so they last a long time. Place them in envelopes or plastic bags.

Whole Group Idea: Pass a bag around and have a student pull out one piece. The next student pulls out a piece and places their piece before or after the number in order from least to greatest. Keep going until the picture is finished.

• Use for Early Finishers

• Scatter pieces around the room and have students find them to put together. (Call it Math HUNT)
