2. Journal: traveling to Oregon, students write how they would feel each step of the way:
~ Finding out you’re going, packing (getting rid of things and determining what you need to take: food, supplies, etc), leaving (saying good bye to everyone), on the trail (misery, fear, excitement, hunger, weather, death, etc), arriving (New home, new job, etc). Six writing prompts for your students. 2 Journal types. One for only writing and the other is for writing and drawing. Make the appropriate number of copies for your journal. Student titles each page.
