Product Description

This introductory activity helps to give students a step-by-step understanding of the changes that occur during each event of the Cell Cycle. It requires basic supplies that can be purchased at a grocery store, but is a high engagement, student-led activity. This activity can also be used in the upper grade level classrooms as a review. Either way, the use of Oreos will make you their favorite teacher!

Included with purchase:

  • Overview of activity and suggestions
  • Student handout PDF worksheet

Required for activity:

  • 6 Oreos per "group"
  • sprinkles
  • toothpicks
  • wax paper
  • paper towels (optional)

Due to the use of purchased fonts, all of the items included with purchase are PDFs.
