Welcome to the Interactive Music World joining Orff, Kodaly and the SMARTboard. These 27 pages have changed how my students learn how to experience music. There are interactive resources for Movement, Recorder, Kodaly, Xylophones, and Rhythmic Notation.
Please look at the PREVIEW to see a selection of the pages involved.
The visual aids included will help you demonstrate for your students and reinforce techniques. These are great time saving resources and will eliminate needing physical objects that take up storage. Add these pages to your Content Gallery so you can include them into your own lessons. Touching various parts of the visual aids will have them disappear, duplicate, rotate and spin. My students always ask where the moving parts are in lessons.
In the Movement Pages there are activities that:
Help students learn about their Self Space,
Use different types of movement, and
Help students create Body Percussion.
The Recorder Pages have:
Rules for Correct Playing Techniques,
Fingering Charts for B,A,G,D,E,F, & C that have playing reminders and
Rhythms to practice the new notes.
The Solfege Pages have:
Curwen Hand Signs,
Solfege Ladder that you can tap and the letters disappear so you can use the syllables you need,
Simple melodic patterns, and
Solfege Composition staff.
Mallet Pages have keyboards for C,D,F and G Pentatonic where you can tap bars that disappear so that you can work with the pentatonic tones you need.
The last pages are Rhythmic Notation Cards for various age levels.
Add these pages to your SMARTboard Gallery so that you can easily use in other lessons you create. This is another SMARTboard resource from Mark Britt Music Resources.
