This is a one-page assignment in Word. The KEY is included. This assignment can be used electronically for submission into a drop box such as Blackboard, Schoology or School Space; OR this assignment can be printed as a paper copy - a great option for absent students, or students who just prefer to put their hands on something.
The assignment includes a word bank. The definitions and functions of cell organelles must be matched to the correct answer in the word bank. The students must also answer if the organelle is found in an animal cell, a plant cell or BOTH. This is a great exercise, and can be somewhat challenging depending on the student's knowledge of the subject.
For an electronic copy, simply cut and paste the correct answer next to the definition; then type an "A", "P" or "B" into the box next to the definition for the type of cell the organelle is found in. For a paper copy, just print. The students write their answer in the space provided. Simple!
