This is a web to describe the different organelles in plants and animals. It is used to organize and differentiate the organelles that are similar and different between plants and animals. Using the Cell Organelles Table, follow the directions below.
Directions directly from the graphic organizer:
1. Outline organelles functions for JUST ANIMALS: RED
2. Outline organelles functions for JUST PLANTS: GREEN
3. Write in each box the organelles’ function (what it does)
4. Just outside the box, draw a picture of the organelle. Use interactive notebook pictures to help you.
Note: Use your book to find the function of Chromatin.
I suggest using this along with an interactive notebook that contains descriptions and pictures of each organelle. It pairs well.
