This activity gets students up and moving and can be used to review the characteristics of organelles.
Students start at an organelle station around the room (signs included in packet) and use their student activity sheet (also included) to document their journeys between organelles.
At each station, students either pick 1 message out of 3, or can roll dice to determine which message of the 3 to pick (i.e. #s 1 or 4 on the dice = message #1).
Students write down the message on their activity sheets, then determine which organelle to go to based on that information and what they've learned about each organelle so far. I let my on-level and special needs students use their notes if they need to. Students then travel to that specific organelle and continue the process from there.
Included in the packet:
-teacher directions for set-up
-student activity sheet
-recommendation of which messages to place at each station
-messages in an easy-to-print-and-cut format to save you time
-titles in cool fonts for each organelle to place at each station
