Use this product to help your students LEARN more about themselves and how this information can help them succeed in school. Identifying and setting goals is essential to reaching one’s success. Without goals, students tend to just float along waiting for something to happen. Don’t let them float….Help them choose and work towards a goal destination.
This product helps students turn their priorities (ROCK & PEBBLE) into concrete, actionable steps towards their goals. (This product works in conjunction with the Organization Module #2 - Establishing Priorities)
In addition, the product introduces the idea of an IMPOSSIBLE list. The items on an IMPOSSIBLE list are BIG! It’s sort of like a bucket-list but more for the “right-now!”
Great as a mini-lesson to begin class OR as a stand-alone unit for an entire Study Skills course.
You must have internet access and a Google account to use this resource. Students must have a Google account. This is the third module of a ten-part Organization 101 curriculum.
This resource contains two ways to share the information:
1. Teacher Directed Google Slide Presentation (use as a bell-ringer) with Guided Notes document for students
2. Student Directed Google Doc Playlist. Students use their own Google account to access the Playlist. Make a copy of the Playlist for each student or assign in Google Classroom. Students should have access to technology in order to take view and explore website resources.
This product is great for classroom teachers helping students to improve their Habits of Work, study skills or organization or if you have to teach an Academic or Study Skills course.
This is the third module in the series of Organization 101.
