Product Description

Use this product to help your students identify triggers and manage procrastination in their lives. T.V., texting, Netflix, YouTube, Snapchat, and video games are all way more enticing than homework. But these distractions only make the situation worse. Students need to address the issue of procrastination head on with self-discipline versus waiting for the right motivation to appear.

LEARN more about themselves and how this procrastination information can help them succeed in school. Take them through a tour of identifying ways that procrastination affects society, each particular person and proven strategies to help stop procrastination COLD in its tracks with colorful graphics, clear informative slides and videos.

Each procrastination topic (causes, effects and coping strategies) communicates the concept, guides students to identify ways they procrastinate, examine root causes, and sends them to links where they can explore software and apps that help to minimize procrastination.

You must have internet access and a Google account to use this resource. Students must have their own Google account to access the Playlist. Make a copy of the Playlist for each student or assign in Google Classroom. Students should have access to technology in order to take cumulative and current stress level quizzes.

This product is great for classroom teachers helping students to improve their Habits of Work, study skills or organization or if you have to teach an Academic or Study Skills course.

This resource contains two ways to share the information:

1. Teacher Directed Google Slide Presentation (use as a bell-ringer) with a Guided Notes document for students

2. Student Directed Google Doc Playlist
