Whether you are a caregiver or an educator (or both!), here is a great tool to help and guide your children to organize their free time!
Unfortunately, most of our children's free time is spent on entertainment (such as playing video games, watching tv...) and school homework. Our children are missing out on many other important areas that are essential for their mental, emotional, psychological and physical development.
For this reason, we created the "I'm Organized!' booklet to bring awareness into this topic and encourage children to be in charge of their personal development.
It's about time they made their own decisions and gained ownership of their free time!
The 10 critical areas we focus on are: reading, physical activity, chores, school work, entertainment, hobbies, learning something new, relationships, self-awareness, and spreading kindness.
- a graphic organizer that explains the 10 critical areas we need to work on to make the best out of our free time
- a goal-setting table, where children list the goals they want to achieve regarding the 10 areas
- a 20-page calendar to fill in the activities selected for different areas (each page is designated for one day). Note that you can print out as many copies as you want of this calendar
- an extra notes page, where children write about their attitudes towards their work, or simply write any note they want
We hope you benefit from this one of a kind resource.
Working to build a generation of independent individuals, decision-makers, and kind people..
