This product contains two similar versions of a note taking guide on the various “categories” of the books of the Bible. An answer key is also included.
The second part of this product is a sort with large heading cards and smaller cards with the names of the Bible books. Cut apart these cards to practice sorting the books. Additionally, these cards can be color coded by the learner(s) to further enhance engagement and organization. Correlate this with the note taking sheets.
To promote longevity of of the sorting cards, print on cardstock paper and laminate.
These sheets work well in interactive notebooks and lapbooks. Print size may have to be adjusted depending upon the size of notebook or lapbook being used.
When finished with the sorting cards, they can be glued to a surface and used as a study guide or final assessment.
Glue the sorting cards to a posterboard to make a display.
To practice as a large/small group, laminate the sorting cards and place a small magnet on the back of each. Assign the learners a set of the cards and have them work together to put the books in order under the correct categories.
Encourage students to take notes in color to encourage engagement and retention of material.
Color code the sorting cards by categories initially and gradually switch out the color coded cards for non-color coded cards as learners show more confidence and independence.
