Students will work together to research either individually or as teams the various philosophical origins of the United States Constitution. Using a template, students are assigned to research a specific document, individual, or culture that influenced early American political culture. Information is compiled, and then students share their work with their peers by creating a timeline. At the conclusion of the assignment, students will work in small groups to ask questions for understanding.
