Before watching the video, have a discussion with your students about a time they tried to do something challenging. Remind them to observe Ormie's facial expressions and body language then watch the video on Youtube (search for Ormie the Pig)
After watching the video, have the students fill out the thought bubbles for the different scenes from the short film. They can either write what Ormie is thinking at that moment, or identify his feelings. Use the feelings sheet on the last page if they need extra prompting.
This activity targets inferencing and perspective taking while working on emotion vocabulary. Have fun!
