Which should you use? Is or Are?

Use this freebie to help students learn when to use "is" in sentences vs. when to use "are". There are 24 cards with sentences premade for you on pages 3-6! Students read the sentence and determine if "is" or "are" is most appropriate. A page of blank cards has been provided on page 7.

Directions: Print the cards on pages 3-6, laminate and cut apart. Have students practice using either “is” or “are” in the sentences provided.
