This set of digraph activities is the perfect way for your students to practice their growing phonics skills! They progress from using and hearing digraph sounds with phonemic awareness activities, to reading digraph words in isolation, to putting those words in the context of a sentence.
Digraphs included: sh, ch, th, wh, ph
In the Orton Gillingham sequence for teaching sounds, the sh, ch, th, and wh digraphs are taught prior to any long vowel sounds. Because there are so few wh and ph words with short vowel sounds, this set includes some alternate activities with long vowel wh and ph words in case you teach sounds in a different sequence.
