OG I have, who has is an engaging game to practice reading red and green words (Orton Gillingham's version of sight words). This game is perfect for small reading groups, parent volunteers, and for partner review as well. The large version of this game includes 4 cards for red words and 4 cards for green words. The smaller version of the game includes 8 cards for red words and 8 cards for green cards. More copies can be made to lengthen the game.
This game is customizable and can be used for any of the red and green card lists. Simply write the words you would like to practice in the color coded boxes on the cards. On the larger version, cut each page in half vertically to make 2 separate cards. On the smaller version, cut the cards out on the black lines to make 4 cards. Divide the deck among the students playing the game and choose one player to start.
