Trouble with Non-Decodable High Frequency Words?
Orton Gillingham has identified a list of the first, most frequently used non-decodable words (Stage 2 Red Words). These words are practiced in a highly specific multi-sensory way to promote learning through Auditory, Kinesthetic, and Visual senses.
I have just completed a comprehensive OG training, and needed these words for my word wall and a checklist that would document growth (as well as a copy that could go home for parents to use to help their child). I hope to have great successes with this structured and systematic approach with my LD (Dyslexic) Students this coming school year.
Hope you are able to benefit from them as well!
