My students love to help the doggie Rex find his bone in this fast and fun board game. This version includes the first 3 syllable types (closed, open, and vowel-consonant-e) introduced in the Orton-Gillingham sequence that I use. Kids have to read, spell, rhyme and identify the syllable type in this easy to use board game.
I recommend laminating the board for future use. All you need to add are the cards, which are included (print out on cardstock), dice (1) and a few markers to keep your place. There are 3 sheets of real words and 1 sheet of nonsense words/syllables.
