These easy readers were inspired by the book Oso pardo, oso pardo, ¿qué ves allí? By Bill Martin. There are three different formats that will allow you to easily differentiate for your groups. Each reader is 11 pages. These books would also go well with a unit on animals.
The first reader of the reader has the students trace the words and color the picture.
The second reader has normal text. You can have students add background details such as the animal’s habitat.
The third reader allows the students to trace the color words. I have my students trace these with color pencils using the appropriate color.
I know there is another version of this book translated as Oso café, oso café, ¿qué ves allí? I’d be happy to edit these readers to go with this version if you send me a message.
**Some people using Macs have been having trouble with dark marks appearing on their PDF. If you have any trouble let me know and I'll send you a PowerPoint version that doesn't have that problem! Just e-mail me at email@example.com.
