These 24 task cards are excellent for usage before, during, and after students read William Shakespeare's tragic play Othello.
A variety of activities are listed on the cards, with an emphasis on textual evidence and close reading in many of the assignments.
Some tasks can be completed quickly while reading (during a class period), and others can be used as final projects or summative assessment activities after reading.
Use the cards in groups, individually, or work through them as a class. Great for discussion!
I've also included a blank page template for you to incorporate your own prompts and ideas.
