Hello fellow educators! This presentation is for those World History teachers who need content and investigative lessons on the cultural, political, economic and historical legacy of the Ottoman Empire. It conforms to new state standards across the country and the new AP Modern World History curriculum (1200 CE - Present), which stresses teaching this particular topic for the AP Exam. It contains several slides featuring recommended essential questions, warm ups, brief lecture notes, a comprehensive webquest activity and student choice of 3 mini-PBLs to complete! Please modify the lesson as needed for your needs and contact me with any questions. This lesson has been class tested and approved by students. Thank you! Owen Cegielski, M.A. History and 20-Year Veteran Teacher, currently pursuing Doctorate in Education at CU Denver.
