What educators are saying

Students LOVED this resource! They loved making inferences trying to figure out what happened to their teacher!
My class loved looking for the clues and predicting what happened. It was a fun way to learn the /ow/ sound. Thank you.

Description

This fun and engaging lesson is wonderful to use when you are teaching the vowel pattern, ou/ow. Students will have to find clues and make predictions about what happened to their teacher. The clues have many ou and ow words. This lesson will also help students review their predicting skills.

What are teachers saying about this?

"What a FUN activity! The team and I picked up the kids from recess with bandages on our heads. The poor students were so concerned because we played it up so much. Once they realized what we were doing, they laughed and joined in on the fun!" -Kourtney

"My students loved this activity and were so excited to figure out the mystery of how I got hurt. The whole class was engaged and referenced the "bandage" game for the next couple of weeks every time they saw an ou or ow word. Many of the students wanted to take extra bandages home to "prank" their parents and show them what they had learned. Will definitely be using this activity again." -Shera
