This game was created to enforce the difference between ou/ow words.
The game is played using two small tokens (counting bears or math manipulatives will work) and a die. Students take turns rolling the die and moving their bear across the board. To enrich the activity, you may have students write the words on the recording sheet. I recommend using a die that only goes up to three so that the game lasts longer and students land on more words for additional practice. The graphics are from mycutegraphics.com and are available for commercial use. The "make a word" spot on the board allows students to think of either an ow/ou word and spell the word aloud before moving to the next space.
