-Compare multiple solutions designed to slow or prevent wind or water from changing the shape of the land.
-Develop a model to represent the shapes and kinds of land and bodies of water in an area.

All of the labs are hands-on and second grade friendly. The labs require some materials, but most of them are common classroom objects. You will want to buy a bag of sand or soil to help with these activities. The labs can be completed in groups, individually, in pairs, or as a whole group depending on your specific classroom needs. Each lab includes the materials needed, directions, and reflection questions. Some labs also have activity sheets where needed.
