Building classroom community is vital in the beginning weeks of school. This class book helps integrate teaching classroom community and social skills, literacy and writing as well as art. With the format based off the book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear Who Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr and Eric Carle, students get the opportunity to draw a picture of themselves and a classmate as well as write in names. Example: "Myself", "Myself" Who Do You See? I see "Classmate" looking at me. Detailed instructions are included in the product. Once all students have completed a class book page, collect the pages and assemble them into a book. The first page for this product can double as the cover for the class book. Read the book to the class. Students love seeing their picture and name in a book, especially a book that they took part in writing! For more class book templates, check out my TPT store!
