Students will explore the community using Who, What, When, Where, Why questions (45 total). Students can learn more about common people, places, and actions found within a community. Answer choices are provided for students who require more support.
For my laminated set, I cut my cards in vertical strips with two answer choices attached. When I want to check for understanding and learning, I copy the pages in B/W and let students create their own WH? book or poster by choosing an answer to match to each question. They could also make flashcards by gluing the answer onto the back of each question card.
There are cue cards for each type of question to help students learn the kind of answer that matches. Also included is a cue card for all 5 questions…you can use this when you are doing a mixed review of all WH- questions.
This is an expansion of my freebie "Who Am I?: A guessing game with WHO questions”. If you’ve already printed that set, then pages 25-27 in this set would be a duplicate. Pages 24 and 28 in this WHO section are different, however. Enjoy!!
