This 24 slide PPT and 5-E lesson will help your students gain a new understanding and love of the universe!
I designed all of my space lessons to go along with an interactive animated power point that will help engage your students with great visuals and opportunities for learning.
This lesson investigates the question "How can you describe how enormous the universe is?" This lesson is very large, and includes 24 slides on the powerpoint! Students will see great visuals explaining how many stars there are in our galaxy, how many galaxies are in the universe, and even investigating relative size of bodies in our universe. Students will be amazed at infinite size of the universe when they are finished with this lesson.
This unit also comes with lots of printables!
- Lesson plan (5 E Model)
-Student Learning Map for vocabulary acquisition

Turn off the lights and have your kids say "3-2-1 Blastoff" and they will be transported to space for this lesson.
If you like this lesson, I also have double lesson on stars and constellations that originally went with the whole unit. If you have bought my unit about the universe, or my mega bundle covering Earth in Space and time, don't buy this lesson, you already have it! Enjoy!
