Looking for a great way to wrap up a unit on disease or to introduce some fun research? Yes, I said it. Research can be made to be fun! This short research project is a great way to allow students to choose their own topic within certain perimeters, making it a win-win for students and you!
This research project can be done by individual students or as pairs. This is a great opener for project-based learning, online research, differentiation, and student-choice. In my own classroom, I have used this as a final project after reading the novel "Fever 1793" by Laurie Halse Anderson.
