This activity is part of a product line of Outdoor Learning Cards that I offer in my store. This activity comes with full color teacher and student versions of the activity cards, which provide full instructions to complete the activity. The cards are designed to be laminated and used year after year. Laminating the cards also helps to keep them in good condition when taken out into the great outdoors.

This outdoor learning activity contains the following resources:

⭐Equations Everywhere Activity Card: This comes in a full size teacher version and smaller student versions. This activity card asks students to create their own mathematical equations using items found in the great outdoors.

⭐Outdoor Equations Recording Pages: Two different templates have been included for students to use to record their nature inspired equations - choose the template that works best for your learners.

⭐Outdoor Equations Challenge Pages: A variety of different challenge pages have been included. For these activities, students examine a nature image and brainstorm three possible math equations to go along with it. A blank template has also been included - have students draw their own image, insert a nature photograph they have taken, or choose a photo from a magazine. These are perfect for differentiation, math stations, or early finishers!

⭐Reflection Template: A page for students to reflect on the activity is included. This is a great addition to a nature journal!

⭐BONUS - Outdoor Learning Information: Two pages all about Outdoor Learning and the benefits of taking students outdoors is included. This is a great way to help justify your time outside!
