I taught this lesson for my interview and was told it was outstanding. It's a year 7/8 lesson but may be adapted for lower year 9/10 sets. The lesson is an adapted SOLO taxonomy lesson, instead of the SOLO symbols and terms I used numbers 1, 2 and 3 and got pupils to stick a post-it note with their name on it on each number and collect the task under it. When they have completed the task, pupils are free to move onto the next task independently, when every post-it note leaves each number I stop the class and we self-assess together. Completely differentiated throughout, constant progress checks and totally independent. Worksheets included.
